HEALTHY OATS BANANA COOKIE




Rolled oats are oats groats that have gone through a steaming and flattening process. They have mild flavor, softer texture and take less time to cook. It's great for baking goods. 

Oats banana cookie is a very simple and healthy cookie. It can be made within 30 minutes. It's a treat for the oats lover. Its enriched with nuts and dry fruits. To make it more attractive by adding unsweetened chocolate chips. Its made without baking powder, baking soda. Even the cookie dough tastes amazing before baking. Let's jump into the recipe.

INGREDIENTS

Rolled oats                                     - 1.5 Cup 

Long banana (ripped)                 - 2 

Peanut butter                               - 2 Tbsp 

Raisin                                             - a handful 

Walnuts (chopped)                      - a handful 

Chocolate chip (unsweetened)  - a handful(optional)

Maple syrup ( optional)               - 1 Tbsp 

vanilla extract (optional)             - 1/4 Tsp

Salt                                               - a pinch 

PROCEDURE 

1.Preheat oven to 350F.

2. Mashed the ripped banana using fork.

3. Now add in peanut butter, maple syrup and mix well.

4. It's the time to add rolled oats, chopped walnut, raisin and chocolate chips.(It can be replaced with any dry fruits and nuts).




5. Finally add in salt, vanilla extract and now the dough is ready.


6.Line a baking tray with parchment paper , then scoop the dough and press a little to make it flat.

7. The cookie won't increase in size because we didn't add baking soda or baking powder.

8. Bake the cookies for 12- 20 min or until the slight golden brown from the edges. Let it cool down on the wire rack. 


9. Yummy healthy , nutrients packed cookie is ready to serve with milk. It can be stay fresh for 3 days in room temperature and a week in refrigerator ( air tight container).

10. It's a great back from school snack for kids, even its good snack for adults.
