Energy ball is one better option to incorporate nuts and dry fruits in our diet. Nuts are rich in fibers, protein and omega fatty acids. It helps to increase the good cholesterol and it's the power house of antioxidants.
Tried little twist with chocolate to make it attractive for kids. Let's move on to the recipe
INGREDIENT
Energy Ball
Almonds - 1/3 Cup
Cashew nut - 1/3 Cup
Peanuts - 1/3 Cup
Sunflower Seeds - 1/4 Cup
Rolled Oats - 1/2 Cup
Dates - 10 - 15
Raisin - 1/4 Cup
Peanut butter - 2 Tbsp
Chocolate Dip
Chocolate Melt - 20
Coconut oil - 1 Tsp (optional)
PROCEDURE
ENERGY BALL
1. Roast almonds, cashew, peanut, sunflower seeds, cool down and grind into a coarse powder and transfer into a bowl.
2. Then add pitted dates and raisin grind well.
3. Now its time to add peanut butter, rolled oats and coarse nuts powder back to the mixie jar.
4. Grind by pulse mode to blend all the ingredient together.
5. Then start making the balls depends on the side we needed.
6. Simple tasty healthy energy ball is ready.
CHOCOLATE DIP
1. Boil water in a sauce pan.
2. Place a glass bowl over the sauce pan, it should not touch the water.
3. Make sure the vapour should not escape from the sides.
4. Now add the chocolate melt in the bowl , mix with spatula until it completely melt to smooth shiny consistency.
5. If chocolate is very thick , add a tsp of coconut oil and mix well.
CHOCOLATE ENERGY BALL
1. Now dip the energy ball into the melted chocolate and carefully place the chocolate dipped energy ball in baking sheet.
2. Allow the chocolate to set in refrigerator for at least 30 min.
3. Superb yummy chocolate energy ball is ready.
4. Amazing treat for chocolate lovers.
