Prawn is one of the sea food rich in protein,
vitamins and minerals. It is rich in selenium,
which is good antioxidant. It has higher zinc,
helps in boosting the immune system. It also
contains calcium, magnesium, phosphorus
and iron. It is good for bone health. It has
higher amount of omega 3 fatty acid ,which
reduces the risk of heart attack. Helps in
lowering the blood pressure. It is good for
weight loss, because of low calories.
This prawn recipe is very simple and so
yummy. Let's go to the recipe.
INGREDIENTS
Prawn - 25
Mint - 1 hand fist
Coriander leaves - 1 hand fist
Green chilli - 5
Garlic - 4 pods
Oil - 3 Tbsp
Salt - as needed
Black pepper - 1 Tsp
( Freshly crushed)
Chilli powder - 1/2 Tsp
Corn Flour - 2 Tsp
Vinegar - 1 Tsp
Lemon - 1/2
PROCEDURE
1. Remove the shell and veins from front and back of the prawn and wash well.
2. In mortar and pestle, grind garlic mint, coriander leaves and green chili.
3. In a bowl, add oil, ground mixture, salt, crushed pepper, chili powder, lemon juice, vinegar and corn flour. ( Olive oil goes well with prawn)
4. Marinate the prawn and refrigerate for 30 min.
5. Arrange the marinated prawn in skewers.
6. In a hot tawa or grilling pan, spread little oil and place the prawn in skewers fry for 2 mins
7. Rotate the skewers and cook for 2 mins.
( Be sure not to over cook prawn which make the prawn rubbery)
8. Simple yummy prawn is ready to serve.
