SUKKU MALLI COFFEE

               Dry ginger is good for digestion, relief head ache. It helps in absorption of minerals and eliminate toxin. It has anti inflammatory properties and helps to treat common cold. It helps in lowering blood cholesterol and sugar. It is also effective against the symptom of nausea and morning sickness in pregnant women.
                Unknowingly, we are using coriander seeds in our most of the daily food recipes. Coriander seeds have many health benefits. It is rich in antioxidants, helps in boosting immune system. It also has anticancer, anti inflammatory effect. It reduce blood cholesterol, blood pressure, thereby lowering the risk of heart disease. Because of the antimicrobial properties, it helps to fight against many bacteria infection, such as urinary tract infection, food poisoning bacteria like salmonella. It prevents hair fall. It maintains skin health by their anti-aging properties.

                From my garden I was harvested coriander seeds, it is so flavorful than the store bought one. Lets move on to the recipe. 


 INGREDIENTS

Sukku ( Dry Ginger)   - 1 inch

Coriander seed            - 1 Tbsp

Jaggery powder

      Or                             - as needed

Palm candy

Water                            - 2 Cup


PROCEDURE

1. In a mortar and pestle, crush dry ginger and coriander seeds ( harvested from our garden).

2. In a pan, add 2 cup of water, then jaggery powder or Palm candy, crushed dry ginger and coriander seeds.

3. Allow to boil very well, and then simmer for 5 minutes.

4. Then filter , flavorful and healthy sukku coffee is ready to serve.
