Broccoli is packed with vitamins , minerals and fibers. It is rich in vitamin C, K, A, calcium, zinc, potassium, phosphorus. It boosts immune system,controls blood sugar level, strengthen the bone, good for digestion, reduces the blood cholesterol. It is rich in antioxidants, prevent the growth of cancer cells. It has anti aging properties.
Broccoli is good for all age people. Mostly kids enjoy broccoli in the form of soups. Lets go to the recipe.
Broccoli - 1 Floret (medium size)
Potato - 1
Onion - 1 (Small)
Garlic - 4- 5 pods
Milk - 1 Cup
Salt - as per taste
Pepper - as per taste
Oil or Butter - 1 Tbsp
Shredded cheese
PROCEDURE
1. In a hot pan, add oil or butter, then saute onion, garlic with little salt for a minute.
2. Then add chopped potato and saute for 2 minutes.
3. Then goes the washed broccoli florets and saute for a minute.
4. Add milk and allow to boil in medium flame until the vegetables get cook . (1 cup milk can be replaced with 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup milk)
5. Allow to cool down, then take few broccoli pieces for topping, then blend the remaining in mixie to a smooth consistency (bigger jar).
6. Transfer the soup into a pan, reheat with pepper and salt.
7. Finally add the shredded cheese (optional) and switch off the flame.
8. Add the broccoli pieces at the top.
9. Yummy and healthy creamy broccoli soup is ready to taste.
