HIBISCUS TEA

Hibiscus flower (Hibiscus rosa -sinensis)  is rich in antioxidant, it boosts the immune system. It reduces blood pressure and cholesterol. It is good for liver and heart health. It also prevents kidney stone formation. It has antimicrobial properties. Because of the health benefits, nowadays hibiscus tea is  available in markets. 

Though it has lots of benefits,it should not be regularly taken by pregnant women ( because of phytoesterogen ), people having low blood pressure and people who are taking pills for high pressure. 


INGREDIENTS

Hibiscus flowers    - 5

Water                       - 2 Cup

Honey                      - as per the taste

Lemon                     -  2 Tsp


PROCEDURE

1. Pick hibiscus from the plant.



2. Remove the petals and wash the petals to remove the impurities and dust.

3. Allow to dry indoor for 2 - 3 days.



4. In a pan add 2 cup of water and add in the dried petals .

5. Once the water started boiling , switch off the flame. 

6. Allow to rest it for 5 - 10 minutes.

7. Then filter the tea and add lemon and honey as needed. 

8. Amazing Healthy and yummy hibiscus tea is ready to serve.

9. It can also refrigerate and serve chill. But I preferred to serve warm. 

10. It has adorable taste hope everyone like it.
