CARROT JUICE


Carrot is an excellent source of Vitamin A in the form of bet carotene. They are also good source of Vitamin B, K , Potassium and antioxidants. It boost immune system, eye health, skin health and reduce blood pressure, blood cholesterol, blood sugar .


INGREDIENTS

Carrot          - 2 

Coconut       - 1/2 Cup
(Chopped)    

Water          - as needed

Honey          - as needed
(Optional)

PROCEDURE

1. Wash and  chop the carrots into small pieces. (Carrot harvested from the garden)




2. Blend along with coconut coarsely in blender.

3. Then add little water and blend to a fine paste.

4. Squeeze and filter the paste with muslin cloth.
     ( Like coconut milk extraction)

5. Blend the residues with little water and then
 extract the juice again.

6. Repeat the step 5 again to extract the juice.


7. If needed add some honey to the filtered juice  and mix well.

8 . Yummy and healthy Carrot juice is ready to serve.
