WHOLE WHEAT KOTHU PORATTA

INGREDIENTS

Poratta                         - 2 
Onion                          - 1 (big)
Egg                             - 1
Tomato                       - 1 (small)
Turmeric                    - 1/4 Tsp
Chilli Powder            - 1/2 Tsp
Cumin Powder          - 1/4 Tsp
Coriander Powder     - 1/4 Tsp
Any Gravy                   - 1 Cup
Curry Leaves              - 2 Springs
Gram masala              - a little
Salt                                - as needed
Oil                                 - as needed

PROCEDURE

1. Add little oil in a flat pan and saute finely chopped onion with little salt.

2. Once the onion transparent, add turmeric, chilli powder, cumin powder and coriander powder saute till the raw smell goes.

3. Then add finely chopped tomato, cook until it is mushy.

4. Now it's time to add fresh egg and mix well with masala and add some more oil as needed.

5. When the egg  is half cooked, add the shredded wheat parotta hence the egg coats the parotta well.

6. Then add in the gravy as per your wish ( chicken or mutton).

7. Mix well with parotta by beating it with edge of flat spatula or using mouth side of stainless steel tumbler.

8. Cook in a medium flame for 4- 5 minutes.

9. The sprinkle garam masala, freashly chopped curry leaves and mix once and switch off the flame.

10. Now yummy yummy kothu parotta is ready to serve.
