Ingredients:
- Large Crab - 1
- Small Onion - 5
- Tomato - 1
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Chili powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
- Curry Leaves
- Coriander Leaves
- Ground coconut - ½ Cup
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
- Cinnamon - 1 inch pieces
- Salt to taste
- Sesame Oil - 1 tbsp
Method:
- Wash crab in running water, remove the unwanted parts from it.
- Cut the crab into medium size.
- Heat oil in a pan , add cinnamon cumin seeds and fennel seeds.
- Then add chopped onions and pinch of salt and saute until onion become translucent.
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute well until the raw flavor get lost.
- Then add chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, pepper powder and saute well until the masala cooked in the oil.
- Add chopped tomato and saute well until tomato get smashed.
- Then add crab and mix to make the crab coat well with the gravy.
- Add some water and required amount of salt.
- Allow the crab to cook well until the gravy become orange colour.
- Add ground coconut into the gravy.
- Stir well and allow to cook in low flame for 5- 10 minutes.
- Now great crab curry ready.
- Enjoy with steamed rice and rasam
